John Kent began his professional fitness career in an unconventional way. He was a stage performer and had to be in peak physical condition at all times. Once John discovered the benefits of health and fitness for himself, he studied to become a Certified Personal Trainer. For many years, he worked one on one with people seeking to get in shape.
But then John saw a Boot Camp from Southern California and liked the format. He quickly realized he could help more women reach their health goals at a fraction of the cost of hiring a personal trainer. John’s Adventure Boot Camp for Women is a convenient way to add a fun-filled hour of activity and movement into your life to achieve your fitness and weight loss goals. And with John’s flair for the fun and dramatic, you will never be bored.
John’s fitness philosophy is unique. He believes exercise should not be what you live for, but the thing that helps you live better. John has spent many years studying the nutrition and exercise breakthroughs that actually work. For instance, instead of doing boring, low intensity, long duration and repetitive exercises, he wants to help you create a “metabolic disturbance” in your body.

John (and his team of trainers) will motivate you, encourage you, support you and direct your personal exercise program. John understands that you need Boot Camp to be fun, exciting and different every day. If it’s not, it’s just drudgery. At Boot Camp, time moves so fast that BAM! it’s over before you know it.
With his fitness expertise, as well as his warm, friendly, and approachable character, John has become a captivating and much sought after speaker on the topics of nutrition and health. John has contributed articles to various publications and has been featured with Fox 13′s Good Day Tampa Bay (Charley Belcher’s World), Bay News 9, Channel 10’s Life Around the Bay, the St. Petersburg Times, the Tampa Tribune, Suncoast News, tbt (a St. Pete Times publication) and Senior Citizens Magazine.
Additionally, John has been featured in Tampa Bay’s Best Magazine where they named him “Tampa Bay’s Body Transformer”.
A 30+-year resident of Tampa Bay, John currently lives in Dunedin, Florida with his wife, three daughters and a son. He enjoys reading, mixed martial arts and spending time with his family.
John is the founder and coach of the exciting fitness and nutrition program at North Pinellas Adventure Boot Camp for Women. John conducts Boot Camps 5 days a week at two convenient times, 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. in North Pinellas.

"After having two babies I just didn't quite have "it' anymore. Boot Camp was awesome. John and Cory are so motivational. Exercise is ALOT of fun again. I lost over 5% body fat and gained more muscle tone. I feel tighter and look firmer. My clothes fit much better. The time to work on myself with no interruptions (children or husband) was priceless. Boot Camp was mentally exhilarating. I am thrilled to have had the Boot Camp experience and look forward to my next."
