Q. What is an Adventure “Boot Camp”?

A. First off, Boot Camp means you’re outside. No stuffy, smelly gym. You’re breathing in fresh air. And you’re not working out alone. You’re with at least approximately 30-60 (depending on camp location and time) other women of all shapes and sizes who are working to get in shape, lose weight and stay healthy. They’ll be your biggest cheerleaders and you’ll make tons of new friends.  Plus, you’re not doing the same old boring repetitive exercises over and over. You’re led and encouraged by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Trainers who know just what to do to get you moving. Every activity is a quick 5 to 7 minutes and then it’s on to the next activity. So you’re never bored and your body works even faster to drop the unwanted weight. Adventure Boot Camp will be the best hour of your day – guaranteed! Or your money back.

*  Please note that our 9 AM camp moves indoors for the summer due to the Florida heat.

Q. What if I’ve rarely or never exercised before?

A. Don’t worry! Adventure Boot Camp is designed for real women – women who have busy lives. Women who struggle to find time to exercise. Women who hate to exercise and women who love to exercise. You won’t be left behind. That’s because John and his staff of trainers meet you exactly where you’re at, take you by the hand and guide you to the next level. You’ll start out slow and build on every day’s successes. At the end of four weeks, you’ll increase endurance and stamina by at least 25% as well as lose inches and tone up. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your body responds and how you’re moving better than you have in years.

Q. What kind of women go to Adventure Boot Camp?

A.  All kinds of women. That’s what makes it special. You’ll find stay-at-home moms, working moms, VPs and retirees. Women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Women who have a lot to lose and women who want to maintain. Women who need encouragement and motivation to meet their goals. Women looking for a warm, caring supportive atmosphere to get in shape or stay in shape. You’ll make many new friends at Adventure Boot Camp. Women say they sign up for the weight loss but keep coming back for the friendships.

Q. How quickly can I expect to see results?

A. After the very first 4-week session, your body will become more fit and toned. Personally designed by John Kent, the camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you’ll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better.  Women also report enjoying more self-confidence, less stress, and greater happiness while experiencing a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being.

Within 4 short weeks, you can expect:

  • 5-10 pounds of weight loss
  • Greatly improved posture
  • Better relaxation
  • Reduction in body fat
  • 1-3 inch decrease in the midsection
  • 25% improvement in endurance
  • 25% increase in strength
  • 100% gain in self-confidence
  • An abundance of energy!

Q. What is a typical hour of Adventure Boot Camp like?

A.  That’s a difficult question to answer because … there is NO TYPICAL HOUR.  What’s more we condition each activity to fit your fitness level. Boot Camp is jam-packed with resistance training, interval training, tabatas, balance training, core work and cardio—walking, light jogging, sprinting or running, depending on what you’re comfortable with. But Boot Camp also offers many metabolic exercises using 5 to 15 pound dumbbells, bodyweight, bands, medicine balls, jump ropes and more. We use fun games, obstacle courses, circuits and relays to keep you moving and engaged. And we are constantly changing everything up to use different muscle groups. Instead of boring, repetitive exercises, you’re always doing something new, so you can get to your fat loss and conditioning goals much faster.

You’ll start with a light warm-up for the first 5 minutes, which leads to a dynamic warm up to prepare the body for exercise … which is important for all of us, but especially important in older women. Then we move into the main activities, such as the Amazing Race, Blanket Junkyard, the Cone Game, metabolic training, core work and intervals … just to name a few. We often end with a “metabolic finisher” designed to dramatically increase heart rate and work your entire body in a short but intense way.

Whatever you do at camp, every activity is modified – or expanded – to meet your fitness level. Safety is always stressed, but we do ask you to do a little bit more than what you’re used to. We are looking for progression not perfection.

Q. What should I bring to camp?

A. You will need to bring one set of 5 lb. dumbbells and a 1/2 inch to 1 inch thick exercise mat.  Yoga mats are usually too thin for comfort.  (As you progress in your fitness level and if you continue training with us, you will also want to add a set of 15 lb. dumbbells for greater resistance to help further elevate your metabolism.)  You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with. In the winter, dress in a layered fashion…even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast! For warmer months, light colored clothing and breathable fabrics are best.

Q. What type of nutritional support is provided?

A. Since nutrition is such an important factor in reaching your weight loss goals, you will be provided with a FREE “Simple Steps” Nutrition Seminar designed to help you reach your fitness and weight loss goals. Here you will discover John Kent’s exclusive and proven “Simple Steps” Eating Plan. John will show you step-by-step how to go from “freestyling” to helping you build a foundation of good nutrition that you can carry into your everyday life. It’s not a “diet” but a powerful habit-building formula to ensure a lifetime of weight maintenance and success.

To jumpstart your new healthy habits, John will take you on a personal-guided tour of your local supermarket to show you the healthy choices you can make for good eating.

Q.  What happens if it rains?

A.  We still have boot camp at our normal locations and times if it is just sprinkling or lightly raining. If it is a heavy rain that is deemed to be unsafe (we will use our best judgment) or lightning, camp will be cancelled. On the rare chance we are forced to cancel for weather safety reasons, there will be NO rescheduling of a makeup camp, but feel free to make the camp up at another camp time.

Q. What happens if I miss a day? Is there a makeup policy?

A. We do NOT offer make-up days. For fast, maximum results, you will want to attend every day you’re signed up for. We recommend you attend 5-days per week for the best results.

Q. What will I do after camp is over?

A. If you enjoyed your experience at your very first boot camp, then you can sign up for next camp to keep you on the path to your healthy weight and lifestyle.  You can also choose to join our Inner Circle program, where you can save up to $100 per camp. If you’re interested in learning more about our Inner Circle program please call us at 727-420-8139.

Q. What if I try Adventure Boot Camp and it’s not for me?

A. Don’t worry. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. In the unlikely event you decide – for ANY reason – that Boot Camp is not right for you, just let us know. You’ll receive 100% of your money back – no questions asked. In fact, you can let us know on the last day of camp and you’ll still get all of your money back. Our promise is a simple and sincere one – You’re going to LOVE it or you MONEY BACK!

Q. How much does one session of Adventure Boot Camp cost?

A. You’re wanting to lose weight and get in shape.  Now it’s time to consider some of your options:  personal training, a gym membership, boot camp or you can try to do it alone.  One-on-one personal training can cost you thousands of dollars per year – at a rate of anywhere from $50 to $75 per session or more.  A gym membership is less expensive, but 65% of the people who join a gym won’t show up past the first 3 weeks.  It’s actually part of the gym’s business plan.  Can you imagine if 2,500 of their member showed up at their gym every day?  Plus, the gym environment can be extremely intimidating for women and they offer no instruction or motivation.  You can try to do it alone which is free, but if that was working for you, you probably wouldn’t be here right now.  The truth is Boot Camp is the best option for most women.  You’ll get great program design and the motivation of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost.  Instead you’ll pay just $299  per camp (for your 4 week, 5 days-a-week session). That’s just $14.95 a session – a small price to pay for such a priceless investment in yourself.  This means you can come to a full week of Boot Camp for the price of one session with a personal trainer!   You’ll have fun, meet new friends, lose weight and get in the best shape of your life. All for just $14.95 a session. You’ll never find this kind of program design and attention at a gym or this kind of price with a personal trainer. Adventure Boot Camp will most likely be the best hour of your day! A 3-day option is also available for just $229 per camp (for your 4-week, 3-days-a-week session). However, we do recommend the 5-day option so you can achieve maximum results.

You can also choose to join our Inner Circle program, where you can save up to $100 per camp. If you’re interested in learning more about our Inner Circle program please call us at 727-420-8139.
