John Kent
A Florida resident since the age of 12, John Kent’s journey into the world of health and fitness began as a stage performer where he had to be in peak physical conditioning at all times. This led him to become certified as a personal trainer. Not long after becoming certified, he decided to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry full-time and began coaching individuals on the benefits of exercise and a health lifestyle.
John believes that too many people are spending too much time in the gym, missing out on important things in life. He teaches them how to condense workout sessions by educating them on the difference between lifting weights and training the muscles.
With his fitness expertise, as well as warm, friendly, and approachable character, John has become a captivating and much sought after speaker on the topics of nutrition and health.
He has contributed articles to various publications and has been featured with Fox 13's Good Day Tampa Bay (Charley Belcher's World), Bay News 9, Channel 10’s Life Around the Bay, the St. Petersburg Times, the Tampa Tribune, Suncoast News and tbt (a St. Pete Times publication).
Additionally, John has been featured in Tampa Bay’s Best Magazine where they named him “Tampa Bay’s Body Transformer”.
John currently lives in Dunedin, Florida with his wife, three daughters, a new baby boy, and an American Bulldog named Delilah. He enjoys reading, mixed martial arts and spending time with his family in his off-time.
